“Too much chocolate leads to cavities!” That’s what my mother would say when I used to lose my milk teeth by blackening them by eating tons of cookies, chocolates, toffees etc. I know anything taken in excess is bad for health but come on! sweets are like a sweet dream for kids where one can enjoy every bite and chew, with their eyes closed. Honestly, it was less of a painful and more of a delicious way of losing milk teeth.
After my permanent teeth grew, I knew that now if these are gone, I won’t be able to enjoy my food but still the love for sweets is never-ending and today I’m going to tell you about a tooth aching non-cavity-free dessert with one of the best combinations possible as I believe.

I was surfing for short dessert-making videos when I came across a toffee chocolate bar recipe so I went to the market and a cup of butter and about 100 g of milk chocolate. Arrived in the kitchen and asked maa to please leave my space alone. Gas on butter in the pan with 50 g of sugar on low medium flame steering it continuously so that butter may not stick to the corners of the pan and burn.
It takes time for cold butter to melt and mix with sugar so one needs to be patient with this, relax and keep on steering until the mix is ready and there are lumps or sugar granules left aside lonely, if any mix them quickly and keep the party heat going on. Steer until the golden caramel colour is achieved don’t worry you won’t miss the colour going wrong it is a slow process for the mix to get a darker shade. You can pour the mix on a baking tray when the colour is a bit lighter than caramel. Left it at room temperature during winters it just takes 5 minutes to solidify the liquid toffee. After 5 minutes melt the chocolate and after cooling it downpour it over the toffee and spread it evenly. Keep it in the open air so that the chocolate solidifies over the toffee naturally. And after some time you can just take a sharp knife and cut in whatever shape you feel like later what you bite into is the toffee chocolate bar its crunchy with the first bite and chewy once it starts melting in your mouth with the upper layer of chocolate. One can garnish it with some pecans too it complements the crunchy texture.
In my case, I desired to cut it down in equal rectangle shapes but the chocolate didn’t spread over the toffee properly because some pieces were large enough for the chocolate to spread so I cut it into smaller pieces and tried to spread the chocolate with some colored chunks at the top of the chocolate and stacked some toffee bars on the sides and some in the middle and looked turned to be looking amazing for me like a mini dessert bonfire but here the fire signifies the taste of the toffee chocolate bars which was flamingly good.
