A fruity bite

Cheesecake. The world is crazy about its fruity top with creamy centre accompanied with a crunchy
biscuit base. Cheesecakes were first made in the USA but with passing time it satiated many taste buds,
some liked it, some didn’t, some, in fact, loved it with its classic baked flavour. Some added to it a few
changes which lead to a completely new era of cheesecakes.

Today we are aware of an endless variety of cheesecakes because people are experimenting with
flavours infused with new, fresh and exciting ingredients in them which had some successes and failures at times, but they never stopped from making things exciting for us.

Originally, cheesecake was made in the ancient Greek era on the island of Samos. From there it had its
own journey. It even went lost for decades which is the reason why not many people know about its
actual origin. But today whenever a cake epicure thinks about a cheesecake they first picture the classic
New York blueberry cheesecake.

It was from New York where pastry experts built their own signature recipes for the cheesecake after
being inspired by the New York Blueberry cheesecake.

Now, I am going to tell guys about how I met my first cheesecake.

I had only known about cheesecakes from cartoons, television shows, and web series but never had
tried once because there was no such presence or demand for a cheesecake in our city. Back in 2020, on
a sunny day, I was heading home from the bank with my Mother, she said that I could to buy a pack of
cheese nachos if I wanted to since I had a tiring day. She wanted to reward me for walking down the
road with her. I drifted away from the actual offer for something better!

It had been a while since I got a pastry from our nearest bakery. I thought nachos can be bought any day
but desserts are meant for achievements and on that day, I genuinely deserved it! I went into the shop, darted my eyes across the cake stand, looking for something chocolatey Oreo flavored when suddenly my eyes were prevented from looking any further by a Blueberry cheesecake!

I immediately asked my Mother to buy me one but she ended up buying two cheesecakes instead. It was
a fortune for me that my first time of trying a cheesecake was going to be double fun. With its pinkish creamy center, Oreo biscuit base; it had a blueberry compote at the top with some blueberries garnished beautifully. At first bite, I got an explosion of blueberries in the mouth with a little bit of biscuit base and the creamy center, since I had never tasted blueberries before I experienced a weird tangy flavor but with every bite it went complementing the cream and the biscuit awesomely.

After that, cheesecakes became my comfort food in western desserts and my curiosity made us try a hell
lot of. With undeniable similarity in basic flavor, each one tasted quite different from the other.
