Winters, a time when all our good habits like bathing, wearing clean clothes daily, getting up early morning for exercise all of this just vanishes with a cold breeze folding ourselves in our warm blankets and waiting for our breakfast to arrive magically without taking a step out of our blanket.

A time when cold and hot desserts both are preferred to be consumed because at this time hot desserts provide us the warmth and comfort we are looking for and cold desserts give us the adventurous feeling to take risks and do whatever we want but all that is a myth when there is the option of a blanket.

I am not here to narrate to you all about the love I have for blankets its just that in winter at times more than the food I just need a blanket. But I have to get out of it! Yes, I can do it !!

So moving out of the blanket, the time when I was in my hostel room trying to sleep because there was no will to do anything scrolling my phone and the bell rang for dinner time. Running in the mess for the right seat to capture is a day-to-day catch for me, the reason being those seats are the closest to the buffet counter still I am always in such a hurry that I don’t will to eat more resulting in lost 11 kgs till now. It’s not at all healthy to do so I do not recommend it because I have been scolded for this at home I don’t want any of you to be punished for this and then blame me.

A night when all this hurriedness was still for some time about that night when I wished to have an ice cream since it was months since I had one but the hostel doesn’t allow going out after dinner so I went to order it online.

There were not many options plus the prices were hiked as hell and when you are in a hostel one must check their pockets frequently before getting something expensive. So I was basically looking for some chunky chocolate-flavored cone ice cream but with an affordable price and I finally found it.

Rupees 65 total for an ice cream perfect order placed.

The next way was to mess for dinner and, once I had my half meal done I went outside to order my ice cream which would arrive in a maximum of 8 to 10 minutes so that I could have it immediately after dinner just like I have in my home. After my meal is done I went outside walked toward the gate and waited for the order to arrive.

The order arrived finally! As promised, I’d like to let you know that at the right time. I immediately opened the pack removed the wrapper and took my first grabby bite of ice cream, it was so crunchy and soothing especially when it was wintering there was so much chill around and I don’t know if it was very peaceful having an ice cream around such an environment.

Trees in front of me with big lights throwing shine over moving the moving fog and I was enjoying my ice cream here in this atmosphere while walking back towards my hostel.

It was a real winter magical experience for me.
